Depending on your outlook, rules were either made to be broken or followed. For the most part, I think we can all agree that rules are in place for the greater good. However, every once in a while a rule is so ridiculous that we can’t help but put our minds to figuring out a way around it.
If you are a rebel at heart, then you’ll definitely get a kick out of the creative (and ridiculously funny!) ways that people have bent the rules for their enjoyment and our entertainment.
1 – They aren’t technically ‘inside.’
This guy isn’t allowed to have opposite sex visitors in his dorm room. Check out this hilarious date night improvisation!
2 – I mean, it’s a letter.
When you’re away at camp and the rule is you have to write a letter to Mom before you can move on to the next activity. Why not just cut to the chase?
3 – The new puppy wasn’t allowed on the bed…
If the dog can’t go to the bed, then you take the bed to the dog!
4 – You didn’t specify which type of roll to bring to dinner, so…
When you’re in charge of bringing the rolls for dinner and you want to be sure that you’ve covered all your bases.
5 – When work requires ‘professional attire’ but you’re a rule-breaker.
It’s typical for office jobs to require “professional attire”. But what they don’t know won’t hurt them.
6 – When you know your parents are watching you while out of town.
If your parents leave town and put a camera up to keep an eye on things–have no fear.
7 – ‘Go outside and play!’ they said.
When your mom tells you it’s too nice to play games inside and you totally agree.
8 – There. Fixed it.
With a cute face like that, I’m pretty sure he can do whatever he wants!
9 – They weren’t technically allowed to sell chocolate.
When you’re banned from selling candy at a fundraiser, but chocolate is life.
10 – I mean, they aren’t wrong.
When the answer is there, it’s there. No need to overthink it.

Look at all of those Bills! To be fair, I don’t think they are actually breaking a rule here.

For the most part, rules should be followed for the safety and peace for all. However, you can’t help but crack a smile at some of these folk’s ability to bend the rules just a teeny tiny bit. If nothing else, it proves that we shouldn’t take life so seriously!
