Usually, whipping out cellphones and recording each moment during the wedding ceremony is frowned upon because thatโs what professional photographers are for, right? After all, no one wants arms, hands, and mobile phones obstructing the view or getting in the shot. However, there are benefits to documenting certain parts of the wedding with your phone, like capturing rare, precious and funny moments. Understandably, moms and dads find it hard to restrain themselves from doing so especially when their little tikes are part of the wedding entourage.

After all, itโs not everyday that you get to see your son sporting a tux or your little girl walking down the aisle in a pretty dress with a flower crown to match. And thanks to social media and some parentsโ willingness to share their captured moments online, we get to see the delightful moments for ourselves, too.
Thereโs no denying that kids add so much cuteness to weddings.
Probably because theyโre so candid and donโt set themselves up to standards like grownups do. A kid with a role to play in a wedding is either gamely up for it or vehemently against it. There are no in-betweens. Some kids are naturals, with the way they calmly walk down the aisle, even smiling adorably at those looking on. Some start out confident and end up inching backwards, their facial expressions slowly transitioning from excitement to dread.

Then you have this little star who showed everyone just how itโs done. Looking at her from afar, she seems to be feeling okay about it all: the dress, the seemingly long aisle ahead of her, people watching. And thatโs pretty impressive for a two-year-old!
Toddlers are unpredictable. And we know toddlers and weddings donโt always mix.
Which is also pretty understandable โ thereโs no use expecting a toddler to smoothly carry out his or her role at solemn ceremonies like weddings. Thatโs why itโs refreshing when the guests show warmth, patience, and understanding towards the little ones. This little girl was pure sunshine and though what she did was unexpected (and adorable, letโs not deny that), she made everyone smile and laugh.

She began walking down the aisle, a basket of flowers in hand. Slowly and calmly she walked, throwing petals as she went, until she neared the front.
And in true toddler fashion, stopped, looked down at her basket, and proceeded to throw the rest of the petals in one spot.
This caused the guests to giggle and even let out a few โawwwโsโ, which didnโt seem to faze the little girl at all.

She was so absorbed in what she was doing that it made the moment even funnier and more precious to watch. The best part of it all was how the guests began to applaud her and cheer her on for still doing a great job.

It didnโt matter that she got sidetracked and went with what she felt like doing at the moment.
She brought sunshine to the ceremony and everyone loved her for it.

In their own way, toddlers are great teachers. They show us how to just be present in the moment, to let go of expectations and standards, and to learn how to turn oh-noโs into oh-wellโs.
Watch her sweet moment โ for just two-years-old, she really knows how to get the job done!
