Riddles arenโt just for kids, they are for adults too!
Some are silly, but others can really get your brain kickstarted.
If you are an animal lover, you are going to love some of the riddles we have today. From anteaters to zebras, there are ALL sorts of animal riddles out there!

1. A cat can jump 10 feet high, but he canโt manage to jump through a window that is 3 feet high. Why not?
Answer: Because the window is closed.


2. What animal wears a coat in the winter but pants in the summer?
Answer: A dog.


3. A bird, a squirrel, and a monkey are all climbing the same coconut tree to get a banana. Which animal will be the first to reach the banana?
Answer: None of them; bananas donโt grow on coconut trees.


4. If 3 cats can eat 3 rats in 3 minutes, how long will it take for 100 cats to eat 100 rats?
Answer: It will take three minutes. One cat can eat one rat in three minutes, so 100 cats can eat 100 rats in three minutes.


5. An angry dog is tied to a tree. If you go near him, heโll come after you and bite. But youโve dropped a ball that is sitting dangerously near to him. How do you get it back without getting bit if youโre by yourself?
Answer: Walk around the tree so the dog follows you until thereโs no more rope left on his leash, then pick up the ball.


6. How do you spell โcowโ in 13 letters?
Answer: SEE O DOUBLE YOU.


7. Whatโs orange and sounds like a parrot?
Answer: A carrot.


8. A cowgirl rides into town on Friday, stays for 3 days, and then leaves on Friday. How is this possible?
Answer: Her horseโs name is Friday.


9. Iโm not an ox, but I do have horns. Iโm not a donkey, but I can carry a loan. Iโm not rich, but wherever I go, I leave silver behind. What animal am I?
Answer: A snail.


10. A group of chickens and rabbits are being held together in a cage with no other animals. There are 72 heads and 200 feet inside the cage. How many chickens are there, and how many rabbits, assuming all of the animals are normal?
Answer:
Do some algebra. If c is the number of chickens, and r is the number of rabbits, then r + c = 72 and 4r + 2c = 200. To solve the equations, multiply the first one by two, then subtract the second and solve for r and c: 4r + 2c = 200; 2r + 2c = 144; 2r = 56; r = 28; c = 44.
There are 44 chickens and 28 rabbits in the cage.


11. A woman is standing on one side of a river and her cat is standing on the other side. The woman calls to her cat which immediately crosses to the other side without getting wet or using a boat or bridge. How did the cat do it?
Answer: The river was frozen.


12. Whatโs at the head of an elephant and the tail or a squirrel.
Answer: โel.โ


13. I grow down as I grow up. What am I?
Answer: A goose.


14. You buy a rabbit. The rabbit can mate once a month and give birth to 7 babies per litter. How many rabbits will you have after 12 months?
Answer: One; it takes two rabbits to mate!


15. A horse walks for miles each day. Two of its legs go 30 miles an hour while the other two go nearly 31 miles. The horse is otherwise normal, so how is this possible?
Answer: The horse is walking around a mill and travels in a circular clockwise direction. The two outside legs travel farther than the inside ones.


Some of these were actually pretty hard! The math ones? Skipped.
