15 Tell-tale signs that you married the right guy
A man doesn't have to be perfect to be a perfect fit.

Remember plucking petals off a flower as you asked “does he love me, or love me not?” Well, we all know that finding is out is never really that simple, is it?

Ask any woman who’s married or in a long-term relationship and they can tell you, figuring out what your man is thinking is not an easy task.

Knowing how he feels is even more difficult to discern sometimes.

On the other hand, just because you can’t get him to wrap his feelings up in a nice, presentable sentence doesn’t mean there’s no way of telling how he feels about you, and it shouldn’t determine how you feel about him, either. Or, not entirely anyway.

The truth is there are some pretty tell-tae signs to know you’ve been sticking it out with the right person. Here are 15 of the best.

1. Respect is a requirement with him, not a privilege.

A person who has strong feelings for you will respect you for who you are. He’ll acknowledge your beliefs, choices, and ideas.

He won’t make you feel ashamed for being different.

2. He doesn’t just hear you. He listens to you, too.

Men aren’t really that bad when it comes to listening.

In fact, when they’re in love, they pay extra attention to what their partners are saying.

They make sure not to miss a thing. That includes birthdays, events, and favorites.

3. When he asks your advice, it’s because he plans on considering it

Not all men welcome suggestions, particularly from people they don’t care about.

However, when they’re in a relationship, it becomes a different story.

Their partners are the first ones they go to when they need advice.

4. He will fight for you.

He gives his all into the relationship.

He commits to making it work. You see, when you’re in a relationship with someone, you just don’t give up without putting up a fight.

5. He will make compromises to keep you happy, at least sometimes.

Men love seeing their partners happy. And in some cases, that means setting aside their ego and interests for the sake of the other person’s happiness.

However, you should take note that a relationship is a two-way street. For it to work, both of you will need to compromise.

6. He will be jealous, but not necessarily possessive.

For men, jealousy is an emotion that’s a bit hard to control. It’s a very strong feeling that’s often triggered when something makes them feel like they’ll lose the people they value the most. I

n a relationship, a bit of jealousy is actually healthy.

7. The destination doesn’t matter. The company does.

He will try to always be involved in what you do.

Even if it’s just shopping or cleaning the house, he’ll be there with you.

8. He will love the way you look even on days that you don’t.

If a guy truly loves you, he’ll love you for who you are. In fact, he may even look at you like he can’t believe someone like you exists.

And you’ll find him saying that even if you’re just wearing your favorite pajamas and no makeup.

9. He will be proud of you.

Everything you do and accomplish makes him proud.

Even if you fail, he’ll still be there to say how much you make him proud.

10. He’ll keep his promises.

Promises are easy to make.

Only committed people will work hard to make sure they follow through.

11. He will always make you feel safe.

Men are protective over women’s safety and well-being.

They want to be their heroes who will provide and protect them. It’s actually rooted in their biology.

12. He will treat your family and friends with respect.

When a man really likes you, he’ll want to meet your entire family and even all of your friends. He’ll make an effort to connect with them.

And what if he doesn’t find them likable at all?

He won’t speak negatively about them because he knows how much you value those people. He’ll love the people you love.

13. You will always be factored into his future.

Men just don’t make plans about the future and say them out loud to their partners if they have no intention of keeping them forever.

If he has fallen deeply in love with you, there’s a good chance that you’ll hear him talk about what’s happening next month or next year.

You’ll hear him talk about traveling together or buying a home in a different city.

14. He will care about your needs.

We have lots of commitment and everyone’s busy. If a guy really loves you, he’ll make sure you won’t feel neglected.

He will make meeting your needs a priority. And if he’s not able to do that because of work or school, he’ll make sure to let you know.

15. He will take notice of little things that make you happy.

A man who loves you will see you. He’ll pay attention to all the details of your life, particularly those that make you happy.

He’ll remember them and he’ll make sure to do them for you.

It can be as simple as bringing you a cup of coffee in the morning, cooking your favorite meal or watching your favorite movie with you after a long day at work.

You see, it’s the little things in life that matter and these little things are even more precious when it comes to love. No man is perfect (nor woman, for that matter), but it doesn’t mean they can’t be a perfect fit.

Take the time to notice how your spouse treats you with the little things because they say a lot more than the big things.
