If you live long enough you can expect to see a lot of strange things. Some of the strangest are finding items with a secret inside. these finds include finding moss in a gutter, an egg without a shell, and an onion within an onion, among other amazing finds.
Here are some items that hold a hidden secret that you would have never guessed was inside.
Egg Within an Egg
While not a common occurrence, occasionally you can find an egg inside of an egg, as shown in this photo. This mix up occurs during the egg-laying process and basically happens when a second egg is released while the first egg is still being laid.
The Inside of a Snap Bracelet
If you look to see what is inside of a snap bracelet, you might make an amazing discovery. Many snap bracelets are made using recycled measuring tape. And while it can’t be verified that this is true in all cases, it is a little tidbit of information that might make you wonder the next time you put one on.
A Fish Inside of a Fish
Here is a fish someone caught. They were surprised to find another, smaller fish inside of the bigger fish’s mouth. I guess they caught the first fish while it was eating its lunch. It looks like they got two fish for the price of one.
A Baby Grape Inside of a Grape
Here is another odd occurrence, a baby grape inside of a much larger grape. While the fruits and veggies you buy usually don’t have this problem, it is not an unheard of incident. As a matter of fact, you can usually find a lot of fruits with sprouts or even baby versions of themselves inside.
Sprouts Inside of a Melon
This is another example of melons growing inside of a melon. The seeds within the parent melon have begun to sprout, even without access to sunlight, and who knows how far along they would have come if the sprouts had been left to their grow on their own without interruption.
An Onion Inside of an Onion
While onions do have layers, this onion had more than that. This shopper found another onion growing inside of the one that he had chopped open. Honestly, to me, an onion is an onion, and finding another onion inside of your current onion is like finding a box inside of a box.
Baby Ear of Corn
While this picture might leave you wondering if this is how the baby corn you find on the salad bar is made, you would be wrong. Typically, what people know as baby corn is grown, but is harvested way before it gets to the full grown stage. In fact, the baby corn you eat is harvested while the stalks are still in their early stages of growth.
Egg Without a Shell
Here’s another weird picture similar to the egg with an egg inside. This time, the egg has no shell, though the inner membrane of the egg is still intact. And while this probably occurred as a result of packaging it is still pretty cool nonetheless.
Little Carrots Inside of a Big Carrot
I don’t even know how something like this happens. I guess it is along a similar vein of the fruit growing inside of the fruit The seeds of the carrot must have started growing early. Talk about the young eating their parent. This whole scenario is almost terrifying.

Moss in a Gutter

Here is an amazing find, moss growing inside of a gutter. This can happen if you have moss growing on your roof, except maybe not this extreme. The spores of the moss get into the gutter and start to grow. As long as you regularly clean your gutters, this shouldn’t be an issue.
