A cat has become internet famous after a photo of her was shared on an animal shelter’s Facebook page.

Quenda’s popularity began not with any crazy stunt, like playing the piano, or falling off something, but with her appearance. Why? She has incredibly long legs.

An Australian cat shelter shared the photos of Quenda and told her story, which delighted people on both Facebook and Reddit.

I mean, look at those legs!

Cat Haven WA, a cat welfare organization based out of Western Australia, found Quenda earlier this year without a collar, no microchip, and pregnant with kittens. They posted on their Facebook page:

“Hello, I’m Quenda =) I’m a teeny tiny little thing! They say it’s because I started having kittens when I was just a kitten myself! I’m 2 years old now. I’ve only just weaned my last babies, and now I’m finally sterilised and ready to find a loving family =)

I’m so sweet and friendly – I love pats and attention and I love to smooch you. I must have had a family at some stage, but when I came into rescue with my kittens I had no collar with ID and no microchip, so they couldn’t call anyone to say we were ok!”

The page informed followers that Quenda is sterilized, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her Facebook photo was shared over a thousand times, with more on Twitter and Reddit.

Thanks to the Reddit post by user McPokie, over 1,600 people commented with comedic names for Quenda:

Fortunately, Quenda’s story has a happy ending: after thousands of applications to adopt her poured in, she’s been adopted and finally found her forever home!
