Before DJs, electric guitars, and other electronic music, there were (and, of course, still are) guitars, drums, woodwinds, and more. Do you have a preference between acoustic and natural music over electronic music?

Great songs were once made using these actual musical instruments and pure, raw vocals from artists (no auto-tune here) back in the day.

Yes, we are now in the 22nd century, but these classic songs still bring us back to a long-forgotten past.

Today’s artists and even enthusiasts may come up with some covers, interpretations, and renditions, but still, nothing beats the original. These songs are just impossible to replicate and they will certainly be carried into the generations to come.

No fancy outfit or extravagant production. Just the two of them, a sofa, an acoustic guitar, a microphone, and a single camcorder pointing directly at them. It was just an at-home ambiance that they have prepared for their viewers, nothing fancy.

Their setup may look plain and simple, but the music they produced was exemplarily beautiful!

The song was known to be originally composed by Willie Nelson, however, they decided to do the Patsy Cline version of this 60s classic.

They started it all with a harmonic whistle overture.

They sounded like birds chirping from a distant forest. After the intro, Young sings the song alone, with her bold and crispy vocals.

She is singing each word with so much passion and emotion. Her voice is absolutely soothing to the ears!

Admit it, Young’s vocals are powerful!

Her runs, transitions, and vibrato were all on point!

Even experts would certainly bow down to their performance.

Listening to their cover with eyes closed can make anyone feel the heartache and passion Patsy Cline originally treated us to.

It’s almost impossible to stop listening to Young’s voice. It’s like she’s inviting everyone to a mini-concert!

Young’s equally talented partner, Turner displayed some slick guitar skills!

Look at his blurring fingers, though it’s just an acoustic guitar, the music that he produces is out of the context of being normal.

Turner gently plucks his guitar strings to turn this song into a lullaby.

Young and Turner’s combination creates a duo that’s worth our time and attention. They were able to nail each stanza and yes, they were able to give the beautiful song justice.

Soon, it became a duet.

In the latter part of their cover, Turner joins Young in singing the song.

They create a perfect blend and the harmony is incredibly mesmerizing, the feeling that it gives is out of this world!

And as they reach the closing, they walk the song with a whistling outro.

And just when the viewers thought that it was over, they also included a clip showing recording bloopers where Turner hilariously fails in his attempts to blend with Allison’s whistle.

The video got uploaded on YouTube back in November 2018, and it has already racked up a whopping 2.4 million views and 70,000 likes! You may also visit Turner’s channel to check out more of his covers.

It’s an acoustic cover that can’t be missed. Watch it in the video below.
