Every morning, Brazilian journalist Artur Lira is ready to deliver his daily top stories which he does every day. Nothing unusual at first, just like every single day, Artur and his team was ready to film, this time outside a local police station in Campina Grande, Paraíba.

As his crew was filming the said news segment, just right in the middle of Lira’s report, a cat suddenly appeared at his feet. It didn’t care if Lira was reporting, he didn’t have any business with the day’s top news – he instead demanded Artur and the camera’s attention.

“That time you’re recording the text and feel a cat passing between your legs 😂. But he was so cute that you can’t even feel angry. Have you thought if it was live? And when I changed places he went there too. I think this cat wanted to be famous. And it’s getting it,” Lira said in his Facebook post.

Lira just can’t help but giggle. Who can resist this adorable cat anyway?

As you will see in the video, Artur couldn’t contain his laughter especially when the cat unexpectedly shows up on his ‘other’ location.

Clearly, this cat isn’t taking ‘no’ for an answer.

“I asked the cameraman to continue recording for me to show to coworkers in the newsroom,” Artur explained in his interview.

The camera man then zooms out the initial close up of Lira to show the affectionate cat, but what’s really funny is when he pops up again on the back of a truck just as Lira was re-shooting his news clip.

After Artur shared this adorable and hilarious video of this ‘persistent’ feline on Facebook, it became viral! Today, the video has more than 500 shares and 286 comments.

Artur shared that he is an animal lover, so he was very thrilled when his video went viral and has gotten some media attention. From there, he decided to name the persistent cat Frajola Delegato.

Frajola Delegato is the equivilent of “Sylvester” from “Looney Toons in Portuguese.

Many comments talked about how Artur should adopt the cat. He admitted that he really wanted to adopt Frajola especially because of the ‘bond’ that they already have.

However, he sadly mentions that he lives with his mother and she said she doesn’t want more pets.

In another Facebook post last November 7, Artur shared that his aunt Josineide Guedes decided to keep Frajola. He shares that his aunt lives near his house so he would have the chance to always visit his friend.

“There’s big garden and space for him to run and play. Tomorrow I’ll take him to spay, take vaccines and give a bath. I’m very happy and I know you too. Now our dellegatto has a home to receive even more love and affection,” shares Artur in his Facebook post.

We’re so happy for both Artur and Frajola. Now, Frajola will have a home and will be close to his favorite human – Artur. What do you think of this adorable story?
