When you are a parent, you naturally build a bond with your children. You become close with one another and while they grow up, they depend on their parent for love and affection.
So you can understand why sometimes, breaking the news that you are pregnant to your children can make you feel a little bit apprehensive. Of course, they can be cool with it and totally excited — however, sometimes, they can feel jealous that their parent is going to be giving some love to another child.
Back in 2014, this mother and father had to break the news that they were not only expecting another child but expecting twins, to their three wonderful sons. And they captured the entire moment on video.
The video takes place in their car, with their three sons sitting in the back. Then their parents show them photos of their mom’s stomach.
“This is the thing they do on the outside of mommy’s belly,” their dad says. “That’s baby number one and that’s baby number two.”
All of a sudden, out of nowhere, the son all the way in the back freaks out even more than the others. He clearly can’t handle the news!
“She’s pregnant with twins?!” The child explains.
And it doesn’t end there. Shortly after the child has that realization, his face begins to scrunch up as he begins to cry. He is so happy to have two new siblings come into the world that he gets so sentimental and emotional. He can’t control the streaming flow of happy tears.
Then, to the right, the other son has a completely different reaction. Instead of laughing like his brother, he begins to laugh. He looks at the photo and insists that, “those are her nostrils.” Whatever that means! Regardless, he can’t stop laughing and it is infectious.
“This is an ultrasound picture,” their dad assures them. He can’t hold back the laughter either — their sons’ reactions are just too funny.
Back to the son in the backseat — he is still crying hysterically. Then he asks, “what’s an ultrasound picture?” While crying. So it almost looks like he is crying because he doesn’t know what an ultrasound is.
It is so dramatic and hilarious, you are guaranteed to laugh at this!
To the right, the one son is obsessed with “her nostrils” and still cannot stop laughing. The son in the back, on the other hand, continues to cry. Like, he is sobbing… And he sobs for a while.
These two boys seem to be polar opposites, which makes it so funny.
Meanwhile, the third son on the left just seems happy and calm while all of this is happening. He has a smile on his face and he’s chuckling, but he’s not laughing or sobbing to the extreme like his brothers.
Overall, all of these reactions are pretty priceless and we’re glad that the family captured them as they happened. What a great memory.
