There’s nothing wrong with trying to stand out from others by dying your hair in different colors, getting tattoos and piercings, and even wearing different clothes, but what’s the point when everyone else has the same idea and ends up doing it too?

Maybe they’re just doing it to fit in and be trendy. Stay original!

For many of us, breakfast in bed sounds like a dream come true. You are relaxing in comfort, as if things couldn’t get any better, when suddenly there are croissants and juice! It’s the stuff dreams are made of.

But as is with dreams, reality is very different. We’re talking crumbs everywhere. Crumbs in your pillow, your hair, and your elbow crease. Never again.

Here’s another example of how buying expensive luxury items and designer bags doesn’t always lead to the satisfaction and happiness people think it will.

This person got a lovely, super fancy, designer branded phone case. The only problem is the phone is broken.

Nothing is more satisfying than getting your car into the perfect parking position the first time. Just open the door and breathe in all the space around your vehicle.

But then your friend gets out of the passenger side, and is met with a sickening clunk as his door hits the next car. We’re really not as skilled as we think we are.

Everyone knows the truth of this! It’s easy to compare yourself to others, wishing to be slimmer or taller or muscly. But remember that what you see is what they choose for you to see, and the truth isn’t always as glamorous.

For every super-toned abs you see online, there’s another less flattering angle they didn’t want you to see.

All of us get a little excited when someone has tagged us on social media. It’s flattering and we feel loved and thought of. We just can’t wait to see what the post is.

But the pang of disappointment hits when we see it’s promotional spam and we’re just one of a thousand people who have also been tagged.

It’s the inevitable trade-off between modernity and battery life. Smartphones have to be the most amazing invention of our time cause does anyone remember how we survived without them?

But all that technological innovation is short lived since there’s one thing smartphone creators haven’t managed to pull off.

A battery strong enough to rival Nokia.

Many people like to go for a salad as the healthier choice on the menu. But most of us like salad for one thing and that’s its condiment serving properties.

Whether it’s salad dressing, mayo, or just plain oil, no one’s interested in salad without it. So what if it undoes its healthiness? No one is listening.

This may be about a suitcase, but we like to think it’s about the world in general. You see someone making use of the top-security zip lockers that you can get on suitcases. And that’s great, right?

Okay but putting a secure lock on something that’s so flimsy is ridiculous. Zippers tear open super easily, so a padlock isn’t going to deter anyone.

So we’ll all be a bit red-faced with this one since we’re all guilty of this. There’s nothing more annoying than having to wait 45 long minutes, after being put on hold and just waiting for an answer.

But isn’t this what we do to some of our friends and loved ones? Leave them hanging for hours without a reply, and sometimes more? Think twice before doing this again.

That’s great and pretty funny, but the problem is this girl was only born in ’92. So that means she just turned 30. She’s already feeling old? Someone please get this girl a reality check.

Another cartoon about suitcases, that could be applied to all of life. It’s a suitcase with a lovely, seemingly perfectly smooth running set of wheels. Wonderful!

That’s until you come across a cobbled street. You have to juggle your way through those on wheels just like in life. Your tools can only be as perfect as your surroundings.

It’s a truth universally acknowledged that any cat in possession of a cat tree will surely want the box that it came in.

Expert purrveyors of the “if it sits, I fits” mentality, cats are always more interested in the packaging than the actual item that you paid for.

It’s just how these cats are and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Here is another important life lesson, which is that things are rarely exactly what they seem to be on the surface.

We know that many everyday products bought and used in the U.S. aren’t made in America. It’s nice to buy American but with a lot of basic items, it just isn’t possible.

But isn’t it weird to think that even the most quintessentially American things, aren’t even made in America at all?

Many people feel that being bald and short sucks. But honestly, there are a lot of benefits to it.

Don’t forget that bald men are renowned for their virility, plus there are many positive pool-based advantages.

There’s really nothing wrong with a wacky haircut. It serves as a rite of passage that everyone has to go through at some point.

But it’s also true that others don’t realize how crazy ‘dos go down in certain circumstances, like attending a funeral. Maybe a jazzy hair color is just what grieving family members need to cheer them up.

So this is kind of depressing. Most of the time, we are in awe of the technological advances of our age, and of the amazing things that have been developed in a decade.

But a computerized system recreating the sounds of musical instruments, and replacing actual instruments from real life is just sad.

This here can be another accurate observation about life. While we love the excitement and fun of decorating the Christmas tree, or just getting ready for Christmas in general, why do we go through it every year knowing we’ll have to suffer the hassle of taking it down?

It’s the same with life and death, but that’s the nature of humanity. We do it anyway, and it’s beautiful.

Isn’t it annoying when a store offers a promotion or giveaway, but has no way of honoring their promise? Do you think they have more stocks in the back and that someone should go fetch them to give customers what they want?

They won’t even do that, which makes people wonder if they just put up signs to lure customers in.

Login passwords are an absolute bane of modern life. Before we can do anything, we need to log in and use a password that meets the ever-increasing list of requirements.

We really don’t CARE how secure our password is. Let us into our own computers!

It’s great to see online reviews of a company or purchase before you go spending money or time visiting. If you know other customers were satisfied, you feel safer.

But what about a place with a 5-star rating from one person? Is that even legit? Could it just be from a relative? No one knows for sure.

It’s a wonderful feeling when you finally clean up those miscellaneous icons on your desktop. You could even organize them into categories or in alphabetical order.

But even though it’s a great tidying activity, it could pass off as an excuse to procrastinate from cleaning up the debris on your actual desk. And that’s the one that will start to smell.

For young people learning to drive, the rearview camera is the way to park in reverse. But for adults in the world, the good old days had us turning around and looking with our eyes.

Once you learn that way, it’s hard to shake so even to this day, drivers ignore their cameras and turn around to look instead.

It’s true that many of us aspire for the finer things in life for different reasons. Some people treat themselves, while others feel important for having lots of wealth.

But however fancy your pen is and however much money you spent for it, you just can’t buy yourself a more interesting name or personality.

There’s no feeling like the refreshing cold wind running through your hair as you go for a nice run. Getting back to nature does feel so restorative after all.

But honestly, most of us wouldn’t know. We run around in the city, so that means we’re surrounded by traffic and grey clouds, instead of breezy trees.

It’s great when you have the time and money to travel the world and go on adventures. The planet is full of wonders, both natural and man-made, and it’s one of life’s greatest gifts to see them all.

The stereotype of the well-dressed businessman who likes to work hard, and party harder is well known since it seems like a glamorous way to live, so people dream of it and admire the lifestyle.

But the truth is not so glamorous or fun, and can actually be a debauched or disastrous lifestyle of drinking and partying. They usually end up hugging the toilet bowl late in the evening.

We know it’s not true that cats remember and cry over their kittens, but it does represent something that none of us can deny in any way.

It is exciting and fun following a lovely recipe, and we get all too excited about recreating the picture to impress your friends and family with your culinary prowess.

But then reality sets in, and you end up with a hilarious and disastrous heap of goo that looks nothing like the original picture. Just hope it tastes good since it’s what matters.

It’s satisfying when you’re the only one waiting on the train platform. You’ll be first to get on when it arrives which means that you’ll get a seat, and the other passengers will have to stand inside someone’s armpit.

And then the moment arrives, you realize you’re standing at the wrong spot and others have arrived just in time to stand at the doors.

Women love to get their hands on a flashy designer bag, not just because they look nice but because they’ll feel good about themselves for being rich and fancy.

But the truth is, if you’re rich enough to buy one, then you’re also rich enough to employ butlers to carry your things since you’ll have so much stuff that won’t fit in that bag.

People can get super invested and obsessed with what car they drive. It’s not just having the newest and most flashy one, but also having the most expensive.

But if you really want to be flashy, invest in a big crane since those are the priciest of all.
