Pet Therapy

Pets, may it be dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, rabbits, birds, or fish, play an important role in one’s lives especially in kids. It can be a source of joy and light for them, as well as help them grow responsibly and develop their social skills.

Imagine your child arriving home from school and being welcomed by a dog who’s very excited to see your kid and play with him/her. That moment will instantly uplift your kid’s mood and spirit.

“By giving a bullied child someone to bond with, pets can help ease the pain of being bullied by providing understanding, love, and support. Pets, especially dogs and cats, are also sensitive to our emotions and tend to react accordingly. What better to have if being bullied than a compassionate friend that wants to make us happy? Children also talk to their pets. And this is a therapeutic way of coping with their emotions, which has the dual benefit of helping work out feelings and providing positive social interaction.”

Jensen got a furry surprise from his family.

With Jensen being bullied in school, his parents got him a gift that would definitely make him happy. Their furry surprise came in a big box. His parents said that Jensen can play with it whenever he’s at his Nana’s house. As Jensen opened the box, he was in shock that there’s a puppy inside!

This sweet little boy is very happy.

When he was asked if he’s happy, Jensen replied, “Yeah, I’m very happy!” His parents were happy, too, to the point that his mother said that she might cry as well. Jensen also affirmed that this small black puppy is cute and is everything he wanted. That is so sweet!

Buddy the Dog.

This little puppy is named after the iconic Buddy The Elf. Everyone in the room smiled when Jensen told them that that, and his mother replied, “I think it’s Buddy the Dog.” While wiping his tears, Jensen agreed that his new friend will be named Buddy the Dog.

I’m your bestest friend now.

Jensen then introduced his new dog to everyone. He started off by showing to the camera how cute his new friend is, then he let Buddy meet Jensen’s family – his mommy, granddad who’s behind the camera taking a video of them, and his Nana.

After which, Jensen introduced himself to Buddy and said that he is his bestest friend now.
