With animals you never know whether they are going to run away when you approach them or stay put. Sometimes if you’re lucky enough, an animal will even approach you.
With that said, Vincent Fejeran was fishing near the Coronado Bridge in San Diego, California when a baby seal jumped onto his kayak and refused to leave for nearly an hour. The baby seal was so comfortable with Vincent that it even cuddled up next to the fisherman as if they’ve been best buds forever.
In the video captured by Fejeran which he uploaded to Youtube shows the adorable seal resting his head on he fisherman’s shoulder. He jokes in the video saying, “Anybody looking for a seal? I seem to have acquired one.”
The encounter with seal lasted for nearly 45 minutes. Fejeran said the seal refused to leave even when he paddled back to shore. He was able to successfully leave the little fella after he lured it back into the water with some food.
Fejeran was able to capture multiples pictures and video of the close encounter with the seal before he left. The video is hilarious and adorable. It’s kind of cool to see the baby seal being so comfortable with a human that it even grew attached.
