We all love our family members but our friends are extra special to us. For starters, we get to choose them. Our friends often understand us more than our families ever could. They provide us a shoulder to lean on when times get tough and help comfort us when our emotions get the best of us.
That’s why Messy and his buddy Audi have such a special bond.
They take care of each other even though they don’t get to see or play with each other often, just like good friends do.
Messy is a friendly yellow Labrador who lives in Thailand with his human mom Oranit Kittragul, and Audi is a husky who lives right across the street from Messy and his mom.
Audi is often left alone and when he is, he gets a little anxious. Thankfully, his friend Messy is there to calm him down and make sure he doesn’t get too lonesome.
Messy always has the magic touch that puts Audi at ease.
“When he feels lonely and cries, I always ask my dog to see and talk to him,” Oranit told The Dodo. “My dog just looks from my fence and sometimes he barks to [Audi]. I don’t know what they are communicating, but he stops crying.”
Audi really wanted to show his appreciation and get to meet his friend and neighbor. He finally got that chance one day when Audi’s human parents forgot to latch their gate to their yard before leaving for work. That’s when Audi made his move.
He walked right up to Messy and Oranit’s fence to greet his bestie with a hug. When Oranit looked outside, she found Audi perched up against her fence and embracing Messy.
“He ran to my dog and they hugged each other,” Oranit said.
She was even able to capture a photo of the touching moment between two friends.
I mean, have you ever seen anything so adorable. These two are just so sweet. Soon thereafter, Audi had to go back home. Even though they are divided by a fence, Audi and Messy are the best of friends with a special bond.
Messy and Audi are a perfect example of how friends are always there for each other despite the distance. Even distance can’t tear these two good friends apart.
We do hope that they get some more doggie playdates though!
