Marcelino began to sing “The Prayer” by Andrea Bocelli in stellar acoustics. He started out with the first part of the song – originally sung by Celine Dion – in perfect pitch! His voice floated easily over the notes. It was hard to believe this beautiful sound was coming from him!

Throughout the introduction, Marcelino kept impressive control over his voice. He commanded a wide range of higher pitched vocals, which is surprising from any man! Then something even more shocking happened.

At the first line of the chorus, Marcelino switched to an extremely low pitch. The contrast was astounding. It is rare enough for a man to be able to sing at a higher pitch. But most singers can only sing in the high or the low – they can’t completely command both. Marcelino shattered all expectations when he demonstrated flawless control of the lower pitches too. The talented singer switched between the two pitches over the rest of the song.

Everyone has their own unique talent, and singing is definitely Marcelino’s. It is unbelievable to watch him alternate between two completely different voices without missing a beat.
