If you’re like me, you probably love heading to the supermarket. There’s just something so relaxing about shopping for groceries. Not to burst your bubble, but after hearing this, you might want to be a bit more alert the next time you head to the supermarket.

Eggs. You can fry them, boil them, scramble them, or poach them. They’re a staple in a hearty breakfast. Did you know, however, what the average age of an egg from a supermarket is?

I’m not going to lie, when I found out I was taken aback. You’re telling me that fresh eggs I’ve been buying for the past several decades aren’t really as fresh as they seem? All I know is that the next time I buy eggs from the supermarket, I’m going to try these simple tests to make sure they’re fresh.
