What would go through your mind if you had a random dog that you didn’t know, come into your house every day to take a nap? The dog is a sweet demeanored boy, and it all started with a pat on the head.
It all started when the dog wandered into her yard one day, and she pet him on the head. The dog proceeded to follow the woman into her house, curled up on the floor, and fell asleep.
It was hilarious because the adorable Golden Retriever acted as if he knew this woman his whole life and he’d taken a nap in her house a million times before. It was the strangest thing.
What’s even stranger — after the dog left, he came back the next day and did the same exact thing.
The mystery dog would show up at her house, every day, for weeks, just to take a nap.
The woman became more and more confused — he was sweet, so he didn’t bother her, she just didn’t know who this dog belonged to. He had a collar and looked healthy and well–fed; it just seemed odd.
Finally, the woman couldn’t contain her curiosity anymore and decided to pin a note onto the retriever’s collar. Maybe this would help solve the mystery.
“I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is, and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap,” is what her note read.
The very next day — the woman was surprised to see a different note attached to the funny Goldie’s collar. She couldn’t help but laugh, and everything made sense at that moment.
“He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3. He’s trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?”
If that’s not the most adorable thing you’ve ever heard, I don’t know what is! That woman must be pretty special for the dog to sense such comfort around her.
