Spiders Have Tiny Paws
I never knew this - did you?

How do you describe a spider? Is it creepy? Maybe crawly? If you think that those spiders are interesting, you could even say they’re cool. How about adorable?

Adorable might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of spiders. If you look closely at them, you might realize that rather than feet, they have adorable paws!

Granted, the scientific term for these body parts is the tarsus. It’s one of eight parts of the spider’s leg, and like many other creatures, they have a claw attached to it. But unlike other creatures, the tarsus also acts as the nose and ears, picking up changes in their environment.

Let’s give these paws a look and maybe they’ll change your view on spiders!
